muzej na avtobusi

The bus museum depicts the history and development of the public transport enterprise “Skopje”. It is located at the bus base in the settlement of Gjorče Petrov and there are seven buses (“Leyland”, “Sanos”, “Raba”, “Man” and “Ikarus”) at the moment. These buses were used in different periods, starting from 1969.

The buses are exhibited in the open, enclosed by a special fence, on a surface of 650 m2. The museum is expected to be officially opened in about two weeks.

“Last year, the enterprise celebrated 65 years of existence and thanks to the Macedonian government and the City of Skopje, the project of renewal of the fleet was completed and the idea for a bus museum was born” – the PTE informs.
