Citizens will no longer be obliged to submit tax returns

The Government reviewed and adopted late Thursday the 2018 draft-Budget and forwarded it to the Parliament.

Ministers also reviewed and adopted the draft-law on the Budget enforcement, the Government said in a press release.

The Government also adopted the document on Macedonia’s Fiscal Strategy 2018-2020 and the draft-amendments to the Law on Mandatory Oil Reserves.

In addition, the Government reviewed the amendments to the Law on Personal Income Tax, according to which citizens will no longer be obliged to submit tax returns. Instead, the Public Revenue Office is set to do this for them, while citizens will only have to check and correct data in the tax return, reads the press release.
