Croatian opposition join forces to topple Andrej Plenkovic’s government

Croatia’s united opposition, led by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and MOST, as of next week is slated to start talks to define tactics on how to topple the government led by PM Andrej Plenkovic.

MOST MP Nikola Grmoja and Ivo Jelusic, member of SDP’s Presidency, confirmed the reports, according to the newspaper Vecernji Novosti.

They said their plans come as a result of the Agrokor scandal, the fragile parliamentary majority and because ‘the government isn’t doing what it is supposed to do.’

According to them, the public urges the opposition to react and to push for resignation of Minister of Economy Martina Dalic, who is considered the most responsible over the Agrokor affair.
