Citizens of Macedonia don’t wish for destabilization, but only for respect of their will, clear prospect for peace and prosperity of the region, Vice-Premier and Foreign Minister Nikola Poposlki told the OSCE Permanent Council meeting on Thursday in Vienna.
At the meeting Poposki responded to questions of OSCE officials about possibilities for settling the political crisis in Macedonia, foreign influence in this respect, risks to the region’s stability and the EU-integration prospects, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
‘We believe that the dialogue in institutions may be restored. Citizens of Macedonia are the best guarantor to that effect. They don’t wish for destabilization, but only for respect of their will, clear prospect for peace and prosperity of the region. We have managed to implement a great number of reforms and conduct fair elections. Only few believed we would surpass all obstacles on the road. At the end, we only need a clear future within the EU,’ Poposki said.
