German ODW Elektrik plant opens in Struga free zone


The German company ODW Elektrik is to open Friday its plant in the Technological Industrial Development Zone Struga. Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Koco Angjusev is to attend opening ceremony.

ODW Elektrik started with the construction of a manufacturing facility covering 10,000 square meters in the Ohrid-Struga free zone and plans to open 1,000 jobs. The company has already begun initial production at a brownfield plant in Ohrid. The total value of the investment is approximately €15 million.

The German company ODW Elektrik is an innovative development company and supplier of high-quality cables, solenoids and mechatronic systems.

The company develops and manufactures top-quality products in four European locations (Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, and Macedonia) with a staff of over 2,000 employees.
