German ‘Taurus Farms’ invests EUR 5 mln in Bogdanci bio plantation

The first investment phase, worth EUR 5 million, of German company ‘Taurus Farms’ in Macedonia has been finalized by planting a 15 hectors bio plantation with apples and pears in Bogdanci.

The company manager, Tomas Schwarz, informed Thursday on the finalized storage and distribution center, where the first fruits are to be collected and packed this autumn.

Schwarz pointed out this is an ultra modern bio plantation that operates according to European standards. They have hired 10 full-time workers by now and 120 seasonal workers on the plantation in Bogdanci, planning to hire 50 more persons for the three new 30 hectors plantations.
