Gruevski: The fight for better Macedonia never stops, the battle has just begun (video)

VMRO-DPMNE leader, Nikola Gruevski, expressed his satisfaction from another successfully realized foreign investment in the country that was announced in 2015.

“US company “Adient”, former “Johnson Controls”, officially launches Thursday its operations in new factory in the Technological Industrial Development Zone (TIDZ) in Strumica. Currently, the number of employees is over 800, while the planned figure is to reach at least 1,300, and it is very likely that it will increase to 1500, which is very significant for Strumica and its surroundings. This is a continuation of the success story of the company “Adient”, which is the largest manufacturer of automotive seating in the world. Their factory in Stip employs 1,800 people, which means that “Adient”, former “Johnson Controls” will employ over 3,000 people in the Republic of Macedonia, which means a safe livelihood of at least 3,000 families,” Gruevski wrote on his Facebook profile.

“Namely, the construction of the factory in Strumica has been successfully completed after almost a year, when in May last year we attended the cornerstone laying ceremony, and in 2015 we announced the start of the construction. Two and a half months ago, I inspected the construction works on the Strumica zone and as promised, this investment is now being realized and it will mean huge potential for the development of the city of Strumica and at least 1,300 jobs for Strumica citizens. This is a concrete contribution to the development of the economy and ensuring the progress of the citizens. That is why one of the pillars of VMRO-DPMNE was support to the domestic economy and attracting foreign investments for additional acceleration of the general economic development. This is a real project that exists, not just empty promises that irresponsible politicians made to Strumica citizens. We have shown that we keep our word, uphold our promises, realize investments, open factories and new jobs. The fight for better Macedonia never stops, we look up to the future with heads held high and this battle has just begun,” Gruevski wrote.
