Grujoski, Boskovski extradition decision delayed due to incomplete translation of documents

The hearing in a Thessaloniki court over the request from Macedonia’s Justice Ministry over the extradition of former Administration for Security and Counterintelligence (UBK) officials Goran Grujoski and Nikola Boskovski, who are indicted in several Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) cases, has been postponed for 13 December.

The hearing has been delayed due to the absence of one of Grujoski and Boskoski’s lawyers and the incomplete translation of the documents forwarded by the Justice Ministry.

Grujoski and Boskovski are currently detained in the vicinity of Thessaloniki.

On Friday, they are scheduled to attend a court hearing over the fake Bulgarian passports they used when attempting to leave the Thessaloniki airport on October 18.

The two former secret police employees are indicted by the SPO in cases Fortress, Fortress 2 and Target over illegal interception of communications and destruction of equipment used for the interception.
