Kammenos: The party will leave the government once the Prespa Agreement reaches the Greek parliament

Panos Kammenos, defense minister and leader of the junior coalition partner Independent Greeks, has reiterated that the party will leave the government once the Prespa Agreement reaches the Greek parliament, MIA reports from Athens.

“Our cooperation with the government will continue until the Prespa Agreement reaches the parliament, when, as we have said, we will leave,” Kammenos told a party meeting in Thessaloniki.

He added that the government will not collapse, with discussions on the Prespa Agreement to be revisited in March of next year, as agreed with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Kammenos said 2019 will be a year of elections, be it in October or May.
