Kicevo remains focus of VMRO-DPMNE

The leader of VMRO-DPMNE said that Kicevo will remain the focus of VMRO-DPMNE in the next decade.

“At the end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006 in the municipality of Kicevo, let me remind you, there were 7,400 employees. At the end of 2016, the number of employees in Kicevo has increased to over 11,000 people. This is a good example of excellent work. The number of employees has increased by about 3,600 or about 50%. That is VMRO-DPMNE, it’s not just empty words and false promises as our opponent is throwing around. A new industrial zone was built, new foreign investments were brought. Key Safety Systems has invested in this region in our commitment, after our long and hard work, to convince them to come to Macedonia, to come to Kicevo and create new jobs for the people. They have employed 1,350 people, and they plan to expand production with another plant employing around 1,000 people. We started the new highway from Kicevo to Ohrid, an investment worth 374 million euros and it will serve both the residents and the industry in this region and the whole of Macedonia for quick and safe travel,” said Gruevski.
