Macedonia, BiH sign agreement on bilateral recognition of driving licenses

Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) signed an agreement for mutual recognition of driving licenses in Skopje on Wednesday.

Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski and BiH Minister of Communications and Transport Ismir Jusko signed the agreement.

“We believe this step will significantly improve bilateral cooperation, taking into consideration the countries’ proximity and the fact that many citizens live or transit the countries”, said Spasovski.

Macedonia has already signed agreements on recognition of driving licenses with Italy, Spain, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia, whereas procedures are ongoing with Kosovo, Turkey, Great Britain and Germany.

Minister Jusko said the agreement signing is a confirmation of excellent cooperation and good neighborly relations.
