Macedonia was listed No. 36 in a new ranking of the world’s passports.

According to the 2018 Passport Index report, the Macedonian passport allows holders to gain entry to 77 countries and get automatic entry visas on arrival from 41 nations. Visas are required for 80 countries.

Of the countries in the region, the Greek passport is among the world’s most powerful, which is ranked No. 5, Slovenia is ranked No.7, Bulgaria No.10, Croatia No.11, followed by Serbia No.31, Montenegro No. 38, Bosnia and Herzegovina No. 40, Albania No.43, and the worst ranked is Kosovo – No.81.

The United Arab Emirates now has the world’s most powerful passport with visa-fee access to 113 countries, while the Singaporean and German passports shared the number two spot on the world’s list in 2018, allowing vise-free travel to 127 countries across the globe.

At the very bottom of the list, the least-powerful passports are Iraq and Afghanistan, granting visa-free access to only 32 and 29 countries respectively.
