Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban referred journalists to legal experts when asked how did former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski enter Hungary and claim political asylum in Budapest.

– Ask the lawyers, said Orban, when a journalist walked up to him. Previously, the Hungarian Government informed that Gruevski was allowed to claim asylum in the Center in Budapest for security reasons.

Regarding Gruevski’s travel to Hungary, Government Minister Gergely Gulyas said that the asylum request was submitted in a third country, at a Hungarian diplomatic office. He did not name the country, only specifying that Gruevski did not use the Hungarian Embassy in Macedonia.
