President Ivanov Ivanov not informed about neither the Greek nor the Macedonian draft-agreement

President Ivanov is not informed about the Greek-draft agreement delivered to the Macedonian government, nor is he informed about the proposed draft settlement agreement on the name dispute delivered to the Greek authorities by Macedonia, NetPress reported.

President Ivanov and his Cabinet were neither informed nor involved in formulating the proposed draft agreement to the Greek authorities, which was announced by Prime Minister Zaev. President Ivanov is not even informed about the draft agreement that the Republic of Greece has delivered to the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, the Macedonian President’s office said.

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev announced Tuesday that the Macedonian authorities have submitted a draft agreement to the authorities in Athens over the name dispute settlement, and in the wake of the scheduled visit of Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, who arrives in Macedonia on Thursday.

Regarding Kotzias’ visit, President Ivanov’s Cabinet says that they have not received a request for a meeting with the head of the Greek diplomacy, and therefore a meeting between President Ivanov and the Greek Minister has not been planned.
