Retrospective exhibition of sculptor Dragan Poposki-Dada

The National Gallery of Macedonia is to open Wednesday evening retrospective exhibition of Dragan Poposki-Dada, doyen of the Macedonian contemporary sculpture, in Skopje-based Daut Pasha Hamam.

The National Gallery of Macedonia is to open Wednesday evening retrospective exhibition of Dragan Poposki-Dada, doyen of the Macedonian contemporary sculpture, in Skopje-based Daut Pasha Hamam.

The exhibition will feature hundreds of sculptures and drawings from all creative periods of Poposki, who greatly contributed to the development and affirmation of the Macedonian contemporary art.

The works that will be exhibited are the property of the author and several institutions (National Gallery of Macedonia, Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Macedonia, Centre for Contemporary Art-Prilep, Service for General and Common Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia) as well as significant number of private collectors. Maja Cankulovska-Mihajlovska and Maja Nedelkoska-Brzanova are project’s curators.

The exhibition, which will run until November 24, is organised within activities to celebrate 70th anniversary of National Gallery of Macedonia.
