Shilegov: DUI is expected to send signatures

SDSM expects DUI to respond by sending a list signatures required to form the new government, a party spokesman said Wednesday.

Asked whether the law on languages was being contested, SDSM spokesman Petre Shilegov said all media speculation involving sensitive issues would be commented once a mandate was handed over to form government.

“All political actors in Macedonia should be aware and responsible before the gravity – be it state, political and social one – encompassing Macedonia at the moment. Decisions should be made taking this into consideration, Shilegov added.

Asked to comment on the idea of drafting a so called ‘Macedonian Platform’, the spokesman said SDSM in the December elections ‘championed the prospect of a unified society of unified citizens that are equal before justice.’ “This is the only future for Macedonia.”
