The shooting of the film “Honey night” has started

The shooting of the latest film by Ivo Trajkov – “Honey night”, has started. The Macedonian director, who teaches at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and also serves as Macedonia’s cultural ambassador to the Czech Republic, has also panned the script.

The story of the film is inspired by the novel “The Ear” by Jan Prochazka, one of the best Czech screenwriters of all time.
The film takes places in Skopje in the 1990s and depicts a night in the life of a married couple celebrating their 10th anniversary. It follows two narratives – the first one involves the martial troubles of the main characters, while the second one is related to the professional engagement of the leading male character.

Macedonian actors Nikola Ristanovski and Verica Nedeska play the married couple along Czech actors Krystof Hadek and Jitka Schneiderova. The cast also includes several Macedonian actors such as Aleksandar Mikic, Refet Abazi, Mitko Apostolovski, Sasko Kocev, Igor Angelovski and Sabina Ajrula.
