VMRO-DPMNE asked Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to explain how did his cousing Trajce Zaev purchase 22,25 percent of the Strumica based textile company “Geras Cunev”. According to Dragan Danev from VMRO-DPMNE, this stake in the company was signed off to Trajce Zaev for mere 20.000 EUR.

“It is clear that the Zaev clan refuses to answer how is it possible that they purchased a stake in a company that has large industrial and office space spread over 7.396 square meters for the price of a tiny apartment of 25 square meters”, Danev asked at a press conference on Tuesday. He detailed the office space which the “Geras Cunev” company owns across Strumica, saying that the real-estate alone is likely worth 10 times more what Trajce Zaev paid for the stake.

“How many other such bargains did the Zaevs secure in the past 100 days? How many more companies have they bought in this period? While the economy is tanking and the living standards are declining, while industrial production is going down along with the average salary, the Zaevs are getting richer”, Danev said, asking the citizens to punish the Zaev led Government at the coming municipal elections.
