The VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee has decided late Friday to expel from the party seven MPs who supported the initiative for constitutional revision arising from the Prespa Agreement, said leader Hristijan Mickoski.

“The seven MPs who acted against the stance of the party and the citizens’ will have disappointed me, the party and the homeland. They will have to live with this. Therefore, the VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee held an urgent session this evening and excluded them from the party,” Mickoski told a press conference at the party HQ.

The excluded MPs in question are Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska, Emilija Aleksandrova, Nola Ismajloska Starova, Saso Vasilevski, Ljuben Arnaudov, Krsto Mukoski and Zekir Ramcilovikj.

According to Mickoski, some were maybe promised exemption from the indictments, maybe cash was also on the table, but “as a person, I cannot justify or understand their actions.”
