VMRO-DPMNE will file charges against 200 people for voting irregularities in the referendum

The Central Committee reviewed and confirmed the conclusions of Wednesday’s Executive Committee, referring to the three requests of VMRO-DPMNE: Dismissal of the public prosecutor and election of a public prosecutor proposed by the opposition, establishment of an Inquiry Committee in the Parliament that will investigate all irregularities in connection with the referendum and respect of the law on government and elections and if elections are held, to form a Przino-style government with a mandate of 100 days, the party’s Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski, following the Central Committee’s session.

The Central Committee came to the conclusion that municipal committees should urgently form municipal electoral headquarters that will function until the end of the presidential election. The Central Committee analyzed in detail the irregularities in certain municipalities where over 50,000 votes were abused during the referendum day, ie there was a rough ballot- box stuffing, as well as all pressures that occurred before the referendum day and all the continuous pressures that occur after the referendum day. Almost all the presidents of the municipal committees informed that a large number of citizens who did not came out in the referendum or have information that they came out but voted against, have been transferred at work outside the law on public administration and got fired by private companies. We reiterate to the heads of institutions that are called public administration to work in accordance with the law, because everything is recorded and appropriately processed. It is up to the owners of private companies to take care of their own work and profit, and not to be part of politics, stressed Nikoloski.

The party vice president said that according to the observers, huge and violent falsification of the will of the citizens happened and this resulted in an unprecedented robbery to date. Therefore, Nikoloski said, the Central Committee confirmed the decision that it does not recognize the result of the referendum and considers it for huge forgery.

For these reasons, VMRO-DPMNE will file criminal charges against more than 200 people to the Public Prosecutor’s Office over the next day. These are presidents, deputy presidents, members and deputy members of the electoral boards at the polling stations in the municipalities of Struga, Centar Zupa, Kicevo, Zelino, Bogovinje, Plasnica and Saraj, he said.

Criminal charges will also be filed against officials from the Ministry of the Interior who, as he accused, misconducted the official duty for which they were authorized before, on the day of the referendum and afterwards.

Nikolovski after the session of the Central Committee, said that VMRO-DPMNE was not fighting for power and elections, but for preserving Macedonia’s name.

We are happy with the result of the referendum with which the constitutional name has been preserved. We call on citizens to unite to protect state interests and to end the last transition politicians who are leading Macedonia backwards, Nikoloski said.
