Work almost complete on southern stretch of Serbia boulevard


Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski said that expanding the Serbia boulevard in its southernmost end toward the Hristo Tatarcev street, is nearly completed, and would include a new round about that will help ease traffic congestion in the Usje industrial area of the city.

“With this, boulevard Serbia will finally be a fully completed boulevard. Work is now on-going on the pedestrian and bicycle trails along it, and on a new draining system”, Trajanovski said, while visiting the construction site with Kisela Voda Mayor Biljana Belicanec Aleksic.

Belicanec Aleksic said that the project will do much to improve traffic safety in the area and will help better connect the Pripor area. Total investment from the city amounts to 98 million denars, or about 1,6 million EUR.
