The key word is trust – this is what we need to work for, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said in his speech at the Berlin Process Summit in Poznan, the government press office said.

The European perspective for the Western Balkans has no alternative, he said. “It is a guarantee for security and stability in the region, sustainable economic development, social prosperity and the continuation of reforms in these countries,” he said, stressing that the EU enlargement with the six Western Balkans countries remains one of Bulgaria’s foreign policy priorities.

“Among the contributions of the Berlin Process is the connectivity programme aimed at creating conditions for economic development and promoting good neighbourly relations, through financing of specific investment projects for the regional infrastructure, transport and energy,” the prime minister said in Poznan.
