Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov met Tuesday with organizations and associations of Bulgarians in Macedonia, saying their rights are his and the government’s priority, MIA reports from Sofia.

According to MIA’s correspondent in Sofia, the meeting was held on their initiative, and Prime Minister Petkov presented the latest information on the course of negotiations between Bulgaria and Macedonia, which focuses on the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution of Macedonia.

Kiril Petkov briefed the delegation on his talks with European Union partners regarding the European integration of the Western Balkans.

The representatives of the Macedonian Bulgarians stated that they believe in the new approach initiated by the Bulgarian government, because they are convinced that the problems can be solved only through dialogue.
