The 31st International Book Fair will be held at the Boris Trajkovski Arena from May 8 to 14. Hungary is this year’s focus, but publishers from Serbia, Kosovo, and Albania will also exhibit, organizers say.

“Considering the national interest and significance of the Book Fair, we expect active participation of the Ministry of Culture,” said Sanja Kondarko, Skopje Fair project manager in charge of the Book Fair, in a press release.

Organizers expect great attendance this year, too, as last year’s fair—held at the same venue for the first time—drew in a record number of some 45,000 visitors.
