“Always first in line, no more waiting!” is the slogan the Ministry of Information Society and Administration chose to promote its National E-Services Portal, which citizens can access today by registering a single username and password.

Through the portal uslugi.gov.mk, citizens can access 127 services from 28 government agencies. Considering citizens have 1,300 services at their disposal, this number will only increase in the future, Minister of Information Society and Administration Damjan Mancevski told reporters.

Besides getting the services they need faster and saving time, citizens can expect the portal to bring another considerable benefit, according to Minister Mancevski.

It will combat corruption, he highlighted, adding that from now on, everyone will know the location of a specific file, so there will be no more paperwork stuck in any drawers. The official launch, and more details, will be announced at a news conference Minister Mancevski will call together with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

The portal was made possible with the support of the EU and the UK.
