Everyone has the right to display their own slogans, to brand themselves as a Thessaloniki summit, an association of industrialists or the like outgoing Prime Minister Zoran Zaev answered to a journalist question on the slogan “Macedonia is GReat” that was displayed in Thessaloniki.

The Prespa Agreement and the international standards clearly indicate how such issues are resolved. We have resolved this issue in the Prespa agreement, where it will be created, that is, the international expert commission on both sides should be formed where together they will solve the permanent branding of products originating from the region of Macedonia that connects us, the outgoing prime minister said.

He believes that finding a lasting solution to this issue will be another bridge between Macedonia and Greece in building friendship and strategic partnership.

Anyone can display something on their own, it is nowhere forbidden, it is not against the Prespa Agreement, but the decisions will be made through the international expert commission. Why not be Macedonia for everyone, we already have a geographic determinant, Zaev added.
