Ten international companies have given offers for the Cebren hydro plant project, the Zaev Government informed.

The large dam is expected to be built on the Crna River and, if completed, would be an important addition to the Macedonian hydro potential with installed capacity of up to 460 MW. It has been on offer as a potential investment, for over a decade, but so far there has been no serious partner.

The Government named the companies as Enka from Turkey, the Archirodon consortium from Greece, the French EDF, EVN from Austria, Gezhouba and PCC of China, and others.
