The Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in an interview with the “Utrinski brifing” show on Slobodna TV rejected the accusations of his family’s involvement  in the collapse of Eurostandard Bank.

Eurostandard Bank is under the regulation of the National Bank as well as the entire banking system and the state has nothing to do with supervision, control and management. Therefore, the National Bank is left to make its own decisions. In terms of accusations – of thousands of companies, there also Strumica-based companies. Strumica is in Macedonia. My brother also participates in one of the companies. He has a loan of 35 million denars, and 3.5 million euros are pledged in facilities and they are currently paying the loan, ie from the dominant owners, he is a minority in that company, with 20 percent. My family reacted, but how much was conveyed is another matter. I say once again – the law applies to everyone, said Prime Minister Zaev.
