Out of 2,805 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 982 new cases were registered, 556 patients recovered and 19 died, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

New cases were registered in: Skopje-456, Kumanovo-24, Debar-2, Stip-23, Prilep-69, Tetovo-36, Struga-38, Veles-26, Bitola-45, Ohrid-42, Kavadarci-43, Gostivar-34, Gevgelija- 14, Strumica-28, Kriva Palanka-2, Radovish-7, Krushevo-2, Kocani-15, Probistip-3, Demir Hisar-1, Makedonski Brod-3, Pehchevo-4, Valandovo-7, Vinica-6, Delcevo -15, Kratovo-1, Sveti Nikole-4, Kicevo-16, Resen-7, Negotino-9.

19 people died, four patients from Skopje (aged 82, 53, 74 and 84), one from Kumanovo (87), one from Struga (78), one from Veles (53), one from Bitola (86), two patients from Ohrid (76 and 80), one from Kavadarci (65), two from Gostivar (75 and 56), four patients from Kriva Palanka (66, 40, 72 and 67), one from Delcevo-Makedonska Kamenica (81) and one patient from Kratovo (65).

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 73,025 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 48,726 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 2,096. At the moment, there are 22,203 active cases across the country.
