Out of 2,902 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 881 new cases were registered, 806 patients have recovered and 22 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

New cases were registered in: Skopje-425, Kumanovo-40, Debar-1, Stip-17, Prilep-55, Tetovo-32, Struga-24, Veles-23, Bitola-39, Ohrid-33, Kavadarci-22, Gostivar-30, Gevgelija- 10, Strumica-35, Kriva Palanka-7, Radovis-5, Kocani-23, Probistip-4, Demir Hisar-4, Makedonski Brod-3, Berovo-1, Vinica-1, Delcevo-8, Kratovo-3, Sveti Nikole-1, Kicevo-12, Resen-4, Negotino-19.

22 people died, including seven patients from Skopje (aged 81, 64, 80, 81, 77, 64 and 70), three from Kumanovo (70, 97 and 94), one from Prilep (75), two from Struga (74 and 69) ), one patient from Bitola (60), two from Ohrid (65 and 83), one from Gevgelija (67), one from Gostivar (73), one from Kocani (68), one from Probistip (46), one from Berovo (80) and one patient from Vinica (77).

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 74,732 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 50,852 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 2,169. At the moment, there are 21,711 active cases across the country.
