Out of 2,889 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 865 new cases were registered,641 patients have recovered and 25 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

New cases were registered in: Skopje-330, Kumanovo-28, Debar-12, Stip-22, Prilep-47, Tetovo-42, Struga-24, Veles-35, Bitola-42, Ohrid-36, Kavadarci-38, Gostivar-29, Gevgelija- 33, Strumica-25, Kriva Palanka-3, Radovis-14, Krusevo-1, Kocani-13, Probistip-4, Demir Hisar-1, Makedonski Brod-1, Pehcevo-2, Berovo-4, Valandovo-3, Delcevo -15, Kratovo-2, Sveti Nikole-8, Kicevo-18, Resen-7, Negotino-26.

25 people died, ten patients from Skopje (aged 50, 66, 40, 80, 61, 79, 71, 83, 71 and 73), one from Kumanovo (81), two from Stip (63 and 51), three patients from Prilep (85, 59 and 44), one from Tetovo (73), two from Struga (81 and 89), one from Veles (78), one from Ohrid (83), one from Kavadarci (69), one from Gostivar (66), one from Strumica (70) and one patient from Radovis (68). 

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 75,597 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 51,493 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 2,194. At the moment, there are 21,910 active cases across the country.
