After the “corona flights” to Finland, Committee proposes mandatory checks for transit passengers from Kosovo

The Committee on infectious diseases proposes that Kosovan citizens who transit through Macedonia – most often through the Skopje airport – be required to show a negative recent coronavirus test before being allowed into the country.

The proposal comes after Finland was forced to re-introduce quarantine for arrivals from high risk countries after several flights from Skopje brought in dozens of infected patients to Turku.
