Zoran Mileski – Kicheec witness, was a witness of the prosecution in the “Racket” case when the case was under pre-investigation. What happened for him to become a suspect remains a dilemma, TV Alfa reports.

According to Alfa’s information, he then had a meeting with prosecutor Vlma Ruskoska for the first time, until the completion of the investigation he met with Ruskoska once more, but as a suspect. He didn’t say anything at the second meeting, he was silent. His lawyer, Aleksandar Novakovski, says they will see the evidence against Milevski next week, and only then they will decide whether to give his defense or remain silent. Ruskoska completed the investigation into Kicheec, without hearing his defense, sent the decision to the Skopje prison by mail, Novakovski told Alfa.

On Monday we were notified of the completed investigation. Milevski received the note in prison, and I am currently preparing a list of evidence that I am obliged to submit within 15 days, his lawyer Aleksandar Novakovski told Alfa in a telephone conversation.

Milevski has been home since Tuesday, his detention has been replaced with house arrest. His lawyer Novakovski filed a motion on Thursday to put him under house arrest. It remains a dilemma, how did they know when the investigation would be completed, to eliminate ground for Milevski not influencing witnesses and not repeating the crime.

On Tuesday the prosecution did not object to Milevski going home from the Sutka prison. It has already been widely speculated in the public that Kicheec may have made a deal with the prosecution to cooperate with them for a lighter sentence. His lawyer argues that there is no deal, and that he remains a suspect. Mileski is a second suspect in the racket affair, charged with money laundering. The public saw him on tape leaving the home of businessman Orce Kamcev with a Louis Vuitton bag containing allegedly half a million euros, Alfa reports.
