The Alternative Party said that it will announce on Wednesday how its representatives will vote in the push to bring down the Zaev Government, its representative Orhan Murtezani said.

Alternative, which is part of the broader coalition of Albanian opposition parties with the Alliance of Albanians, supports the VMRO-DPMNE led move to topple Zaev’s SDSM and Ali Ahmeti’s DUI parties from power, which is now supported by 61 representatives – the minimum necessary for it to succeed.

But one representative from the Alternative, Skender Rexhepi, said that he is unhappy with the inclusion of the left wing populist Levica party. It’s not clear whether he will support the toppling of Zaev’s Government but stop short of supporting a VMRO led coalition if it includes Levica, or if he will refrain from voting altogether.
