Bulgaria decided to open its border for Macedonian citizens, provided that they present a recent negative coronavirus test.

While the EU keeps its borders closed for Macedonians, Bulgaria decided to make an exception. Other countries that will be exempt are Moldova, Israel, Serbia and Kuwait. The Bulgarian Black Sea coast will be a welcome alternative for Macedonian tourists, who are blocked from visiting the popular Aegean Sea beaches in Greece.
