After receiving the French proposal to resolve the dispute with Bulgaria and the Government’s announcement that this proposal will be accepted, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, called for a large public protest in front of the government building, starting at 7 p.m.

A proposal that is an ultimatum for the future of our Macedonia.

A proposal that dictates megalomaniacal demands and historical aspirations towards Macedonia. For such a proposal, the answer is NO THANK YOU!!!, said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE.

The proposal that is on the table, and which the government hid, and which we reached through our own channels, is actually the same one that was already rejected once. And with regret I have to state that this proposal contains all the Bulgarian demands both in the part of history, and in the part of language, and in the part of identity.

The acceptance of such a proposal implies the full right of Bulgaria to change textbooks and write them according to the Bulgarian dictates, and our children in primary education to learn according to the Bulgarian dictates or there is no European future. Acceptance that Goce Delcev, Dame Gruev, Jane Sandanski and other heroes and revolutionaries were Bulgarians, that the Macedonian language is a dialect of Bulgarian.

Anyone who, like the government of Kovacevski, Osmani and Maricic, will tell you something different, I tell you with all my dignity and name, that they are not telling the truth or, to be more direct, they are lying to you.

And that’s why we have a cacophony of proposals, two documents, two processes, changed words, semantic inversion that the government shows us for success. Here I am telling you that they are lying and manipulating. I and VMRO-DPMNE should know right now that we will not be accomplices in such a process, we will fight for the truth and against this kind of knockout of Macedonian diplomacy.

He says that now is the moment when one should be clear, loud and take the right side, the side of Macedonia and the side of the people.

That’s why I call for unification and a high awareness of the heavy blows that this government will inflict on our Macedonia.

Either now we will say a loud NO, or then, dear friends, dear fellow citizens, we will not have the right to be loud again and we will have no objections.

Therefore, let’s all go out together, regardless of whether we are politically determined or undecided, regardless of whether we are like this or that, left or right, liberal or conservative, if Macedonia means to us, if the work of our ancestors means to us, I call you as an ordinary citizen, let’s go out in front of the government’s plateau and say a big NO at 19 h, said Mickoski.
