The Minister of Health, Venko Filipce, met Friday with the owners of the private hospitals “Zan Mitrev”, “Sistina” and “Remedika”.

The Health Ministry said the talks were constructive and that private hospitals had expressed a positive attitude towards the use of their resources by the state to deal with the pandemic.

Given that for the first time the state together with the private health institutions should make a reorganization to deal with the cornavirus crisis, additional clarification of the conditions, how to use the resources of private health care institutions will be agreed at the next meeting scheduled for Sunday. Until then, the teams of the Ministry of Health and the private hospitals are working on formalizing the cooperation, the Ministry informed.
