Confidential documents related to the 2012 Good Friday islamist attack and the 2015 Albanian terrorist attack on Kumanovo were found in the home of detained Deputy Parliament Speaker Frosina Remenski, the Mkd.mk news site reports. The top SDSM party official, whose husband Jovce Remenski was promoted to head of the anti-terrorism department in the Interior Ministry, is under house arrest over her role in the major racketeering scandal.

Mkd.mk reports that police searching Remenski’s home found the documents which she or her husband were not supposed to have in the house. State prosecutors confirmed to the news site that confidential documents were found during the search. Prosecutors are determining whether Jovce Remenski had permission to keep such documents in his house.

Frosina Remenski was charged as honorary President of the bogus charity International Association, that was set up by showman Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 who went on to extort millions of euros from various businessmen. Boki 13 used his ties to Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva and to high level SDSM party officials to extort money from businessmen who faced criminal charges or were enticed to join him in politically linked real-estate development deals.

It is believed that Frosina and Jovce Remenski, as people from Zoran Zaev’s inner circle, had access to the large cache of wiretaps which the SDSM party used in its campaign to grab power starting in 2015, and that the tapes were used for blackmail. Jovce Remenski was suspected of extorting money from businessman Fijat Canovski, allegedly using materials showing Canovski with underage girls.
