Following Tuesday’s information that the SEC in the midst of the elections made a decision to count and accept ballots that have not been stamped, the head of the Commission Aleksandar Dastevski says that there are no changes in the voting instructions.

Everything remains the same. The provision that stamp on the ballot is mandatory remains in force, Dastevski told “Republika”.

The State Election Commission (SEC) today at a session voted to annul yesterday’s amendment to the instructions for valid and invalid ballots. The President of the SEC Aleksandar Dastevski and the member of the Commission Boris Kondarko explained that this amendment to the instructions resulted from the ruling of the Administrative Court for the polling station in Suto Orizari and where the court concluded that it was inadmissible due to omissions of the election board to stamp ballots to declare them invalid.
