The enactment of the law on public prosecution and a transparent, unbiased investigation into the “Racket” case are two key factors to our advantage in securing a date to start negotiations with the EU in October, Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov has said before the beginning of the Council of Ambassadors in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Dimitrov, the last two years have seen an intense, obvious and drastic improvement of the situation regarding the European integration process and conduct of foreign policy. Visits to the country have increased, as have those of our officials in EU member states.

There is something that was considered unsolvable. Here we made a big step forward, manifested in a genuine, European way and resolved an issue that kept us out of the EU and NATO integration process. With our neighbors, when the world is shaking, we have created a chance for the EU, Dimitrov said.
