The European Parliament is set to put forward an extraordinary resolution at Wednesday’s plenary session to again demand the opening of EU accession negotiations with Macedonia and Albania.

The EP has already said Skopje and Tirana should start accession negotiations with the Union, and the extraordinary resolution comes after the EU failed to reach a consensus at the last summit, primarily because of France’s opposition.
