Former Albanian Ambassador to Macedonia Arben Cejku believes that Ali Ahmeti is the “moral” President of Macedonia and that Stevo Pendarovski owes a debt to the Albanian voters he will have to repay as President.

Pendarovski did not had some particular result in the areas of the country where Macedonians dominate. His win was given to him by the Albanians. Ahmeti, in my opinion, is the moral President of “North Macedonia”. He led the important process with Greece, and even for the NATO membership, Cejku said.

Pendarovski lost the race in the competitive, majority Macedonian parts of the country, but received an estimated 130.000 votes from the Albanian districts, who broke almost unanimously in his favor, in a move which appeared as pre-arranged voting.
