A new hearing in the “Racket” case is set to take place at the Skopje Criminal Court, in which former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva and Bojan Jovanovski-Boki 13 are defendants.

Four witnesses are set to testify at today’s hearing. The case is being handled by judge Vaska Nikolovska Masevska, and the prosecutor is Vilma Ruskoska.

A former employee of Orka Holding testified at the previous hearing, who said that in December 2018 and February this year she had withdrawn larger amount of money from the private accounts of the Kamcev family several times.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecuting Organized Crime and Corruption filed charges in October this year against Bojan Jovanovski, Katica Janeva and Zoran Milevski.

The first defendant Jovanovski is suspected of committing “money laundering and other proceeds of crime,” and Janeva and Milevski of “receiving a reward for unlawful influence”.

The second defendant, Janeva, is also charged with “abuse of power and authority”.

At the first “Racket” hearing, held on December 3, the third defendant, Zoran Milevski-Kiceec, pleaded guilty, after which he was sentenced to three years in prison.
