In recent days, despite the situation in Ukraine, we had the opportunity to hear a statement from Pendarovski in the media that he knew on November 8 last year, that there would be a war between Russia and Ukraine, and for 5 months the state top leadership did nothing in regard to providing supplies and preparing for a crisis situation. Only four months later, on February 24, the Security Council was convened, at which obviously no measures were taken to protect our citizens from the consequences caused by this war, said Anastasija Ilievska from VMRO-DPMNE.

The citizens feel the uncertainty about the basic foodstuffs, because in one day we had the opportunity to hear 3 different statements regarding the commodity reserves, that they are stable, for the same day from neighboring Serbia to hear that the Government of Macedonia sent a request for delivery of 50,000 tons of wheat and 25,000 tons of corn. Were the commodity reserves empty so the Government decided to take such a step and thus put Macedonia in a situation of uncertainty?, she asked, adding the government should also answer what it has done regarding the necessary fuel supplies, and is there enough in the country?
