A day after Bulgaria’s veto, which Zaev called “failure to approve” instead of the right word, the prime minister speaks about feelings and emotions instead of responsibility.

So, we heard that this hurts him but that he is ready for a new, legally binding Declaration with Bulgaria. Zaev is obliged to explain what this means, will he cancel the existing Friendship Agreement?

And more importantly, will Bulgaria have any obligations with that Declaration or will it be one-sided like the Agreement signed by Zaev and Borisov.

Yesterday, Zaev reiterated that we have a common history with Bulgaria. But only a few days ago he claimed that he did not agree on a common history with his eastern neighbor. Let him reconsider what is true.

This hurts very much. We did not expect this from the Bulgarian people with the only one we have accepted a common history in an Agreement that has become a law in the country, said Zaev yesterday.

It seems that the Goce Delcev issue is settled as well, and Zaev is only waiting for a suitable moment how to “sell” it to the public. Zaev said yesterday that we have a common history with Bulgaria, and that Goce Delcev was a common hero of history.

Because of all this, now is not the time to show emotions, shed tears and pretend to be a victim. Now the only thing required from Zaev is keeping his word, responsibility and resignation.
