A court council found today that the charges filed against disgraced former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva and her two accomplices should be put to trial. Janeva, Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 and Zoran Mileski – Zoki Kicheec are charged with extorting millions of euros from businessmen, blackmailing them with charges filed by Janeva, or with their close ties to the ruling SDSM party.

The three appealed the charges and demanded that they are not put to a trial, but their objections were overruled. The case will now be electronically assigned to a judge.

Separate charges were broadened toward the bogus charity ran by Boki 13. These are filed against his father Mile Jovanovski and managers in the charity but also against top SDSM party official Frosina Remenski. Kicheec was also named in privately filed charges where he is suspected of extorting money from a dialysis provider with the help of top Government healthcare officials.
