Businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev began revealing details about the extortion attempts made against him in the major Racket scandal which deepened the political crisis in Macedonia and led to the downfall of Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva.

The businessman said that Janeva and her accomplice Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 targeted him for extortion, threatened him with prison and sought money to let him work in peace. “What has it come to, to have Boki 13 as head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office?”, Kamcev asked the court. But, as many are suspecting, Kamcev insisted that Boki 13 and Katica Janeva are not the only culprits in this case.

Many more people should be on the dock, not just Katica and Boki, Kamcev said.

The businessman confirmed that La Verita tapes – a series of video and audio leaks from his home in which he is seen packing a Louis Vuitton bag full of money and giving it to Boki and his associate Zoran Mileski – Zoki Kiceec.

I packed the money as he requested. I even gave him a receipt. There were 500.000 EUR in 50 EUR bills in it to fill it up, Kamcev said.

He added that he consulted the head of the UBK intelligence agency Goran Nikolovski and “friends from Bulgaria” who advised him to film the bag, prepare a receipt and even though everything was agreed, to keep asking Boki 13 what exactly does he get for the money. Kamcev added that Boki kept the bag and part of the money, but 350.000 EUR were given to Janeva, in a shoebox, in exchange for her sabotaging her own criminal case against Kamcev, which Janeva named “Empire”.

According to Kamcev’s testimony, Boki 13 approached him with different forms of extortion – he demanded that Kamcev buys ads in his 1TV television, or that he joins a mall venture. Kamcev also revealed that a friend of his, telecom manager Zarko Lukovski, who recently died from a brain aneurism, was also the target of extortion.

My friend, who is no longer with us, told me that he was also going to be charged in the “Empire” case, and that the code name was told to him by Boki 13. Boki 13 called him and told him that, if he wants to avoid being drawn into the case, he needs to pay 200.000 EUR. He was badly ill and is no longer alive now. He fled to Serbia when the charges were first filed and Boki called him there and told him ‘see what will happen to you if you don’t pay up’. While still in Belgrade, he paid him 250.000 EUR, Kamcev said.

Kamcev described how close Janeva and Boki 13 were. He described a scene when, while he was in detention, his wife Ana Kamceva went to negotiate with Boki 13 in his home near Skopje. Janeva was there, and was having a hair styling session with Boki. “Dejan Pandeleski (a Bitola based businessman who is a co-defendent in Janeva’s “Empire” case) came too, the place was like a barber shop”, Kamcev said.

Boki 13 attempted to postpone the hearing again, citing his health issues, but the judge Vaska Nikolovska Masevska was having none of it. Boki 13 had a botched gastric bypass at a clinic co-owned by Kamcev, which he reportedly didn’t pay for, and is having continuous health issues as a result.

Kamcev then went on to say how Vasil Dimiskov, brother of judge Vesna Dimiskova, the judge who approved Special Prosecutor Janeva’s request to have Kamcev detained, approached him and asked for an initial payment of 100.000 EUR. Vasil Dimiskov then presented Kamcev with a list of options and prices – what it would cost to have him released from detention, sabotage or fully end the case against him.
