After Zoran Zaev threatened lawsuits against journalists who speculate over the identities of the two high ranked SDSM party officials who were allegedly deeply involved in the growing racketeering scandal, former SDSM Secretary General Aleksandar Kiracovski denied knowing their identities and dismissed the question whether he is the one nicknamed “Kiki”.

Journalist Branko Geroski published a series of reports accusing Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, showman Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 and two SDSM party officials he named “Kiki” and “Friki’ of extorting money from businessmen. Geroski used fake names for all persons involved, but made them so they were easily distinguishable – for example “Koki” for Boki 13.

I suppose Koki is Boki. I don’t know who Kiki is. You think it is me? We will see who Geroski is writing about. I absolutely don’t see myself in his reports. Geroski wrote all sorts of nonsense. You are calling me and asking me if I see myself in the character of Kiki adn that is a suggestive question. I hope Geroski openly writes that I’m Kiki, so we can resolve this matter as it should be resolved, Kiracoski told the A1on news site, also implying he will sue Geroski for his writing.

Earlier Geroski announced that he will reveal the names of Kiki and the female Friki on Monday.

Kiracovski, a powerful Bitola based SDSM official and member of Parliament, was recently dismissed from his position as Secretary General of the party after he was blamed for encouraging the series of nepotistic hirings of relatives of close party officials. According to Geroski, the group that was led by Katica Janeva and had Boki 13 as a point man for extortion, was using Janeva’s powerful position as an unchecked Special Prosecutor, but also its ties to top SDSM party officials, to blackmail businessmen raking in millions.
