Darko Kostovski, the new mayor of Butel said Tuesday on TV Telma’s “Top tema” show that after the initial analysis of the work of his predecessor, it was revealed that about 40 people were employed in the municipality and received a salary, although they did not come to work.

Kostovski, who is from VMRO-DPMNE, and defeated his predecessor Velimir Smilevski from SDSM, said that there was an attempt to cover up these employments. In these, as he called fictitious employments, there were people hired to maintain hygiene under a contract, some of whom did not come to work, but there were also about 20 employees in the municipal administration, and their contract expired in November.

Kostovski announced that an analysis of the projects in the municipality is being made to check whether they have been implemented correctly or with abuses.
