Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov met Friday on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

The Prime Ministers expressed satisfaction with the progress of bilateral cooperation so far, saying it would intensify.

The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Maricic and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, expressed satisfaction with the progress of bilateral cooperation through the activities of the working groups and the concrete cooperation activities that have emerged so far. The two prime ministers announced the intensification of cooperation and dialogue and the issues that need to be resolved at the political level in the coming period, informed the government press service.

According to the statement, the greatest benefit for both countries and the citizens is to reach quality solutions supported and accepted by both parties as soon as possible.

Prime Ministers Kovacevski and Petkov shared that the security situation in the Western Balkans and Europe is of particular importance and agreed that Macedonia’s integration into the EU is a factor for general security and safety.
